In the most recent studies that were conducted by scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, and at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, the researchers found that many household cleaners often emit very toxic pollutants that, over time, will lead to certain health risks. One of these is that it can be a cause of breast cancer in women. Scientists are now searching for the possible causes of breast cancer as they relate to things like poor indoor air quality and are also are identifying the link between toxic household cleaners and the on set of escalating diseases that are associated with toxic chemical poisoning. The American Association of Poison Control Centers has reported the largest occurrences of household poisoning are directly related to cleaners such as, toilet bowl cleaners, bleach, detergents and also air fresheners.The statistics for the cause of breast cancer in the US show that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in any given year. That translates into about 180,000 cases a year.
