In the case of women that have hereditary cancer genes the mutation is present a birth. This gene change can exist in cells throughout the body. Thus it does increase the risk for cancer to develop at some point. However, this risk doesn’t guarantee that they cancer will actually appear. The one thing is to eat raw walnuts. There are compounds in walnuts that can reduce the risk of breast cancer. Walnuts contain omega-3 fatty acids that contribute to the decline in tumor incidents.

Weight control is another very important aspect. Studies done in Europe have shown how being overweight puts one at greater risk. The found that there were great incidents of cancer among those who were overweight. Also exercise as been shown to help with reducing the risk of cancer.

Diet has definitely been tied to breast cancer survival. Taking in foods that are nutritional and healthy help with the immune system and body in general. Plus there are various herbs and spices that are known to fight against cancer compounds. Such herbs as tumeric, ginger, cinnamon, mint, thyme, marjoram, oregano and basil all help. As do things like garlic, onions and leeks, shallots and chives also have possible help against cancer compounds.
