Medical physicians, scientists, and researchers are well aware of this deadly disease and have been aware for many years though most choose not to discuss the issue. Why the medical physicians, scientist, and researchers are keeping to quiet about this particular form of breast cancer is an educated guess. However, this particular breast cancer is not out in the public realm and probably never will.

Men and woman who are receiving a diagnosis of this deadly and uncontrollable disease are also very aware. These same men and woman are stunned when they receive the diagnosis because it is so very rare. Women for many years now have gone through the trouble to perform the self-detection of finding any lumps on their breasts and nothing is evident. These same women also make an appointment once a year sometimes more to expose their breasts to the mammography for a more intense search for anything abnormal and nothing is evident.

Advance stages of breast cancer with this type of determination are extremely rare. The difficulty is that by the time a medical profession even detects a hint of breast cancer of this form unfortunately it is too late. How does something like this happen to women who are aware of the necessary procedures to perform and are receiving a mammography at regular suggested intervals? This is such a debilitating disease and very heart wrenching for all the women receiving a diagnosis of this kind.

One of the very first procedures the medical physician will perform is the mammography but unfortunately nothing usually will show up. The mammogram is first, followed by the ultrasound for any type of detection. A medical surgeon will then perform a needle biopsy and a skin biopsy which is virtually painless to the woman. The next step becomes more difficult and more complicated but there is nothing anyone can do at this point. If only there was more information available to young women everywhere about this horrific and deadly disease.

Oncologist will set up appointments and the necessary pre-surgery procedures along with the actual surgical procedures to help offer a remedy for this deadly and debilitating disease, but by this point in time this disease is reaching a threshold. The next logical step is for the oncologist to set up an appointment for a PET scan and this will render information as to how far this rare form of breast cancer is traveling. The next logical step unfortunately is to begin immediately with chemotherapy.

Exposure to chemotherapy has caused many changes such as the loss of hair, the perception of yourself, and how you believe those around you see you now. Sure things have changed for you, but inside you are still the same person and you need to feel proud of surviving such an ordeal. Okay, yes, you lost most if not all of your hair, but it will grow back. You need to focus on the fact that you survived. You survived for yourself and for all your family and friends who surround you.

Surgical procedures you are experiencing may cause you to run the risk of complications setting in and this will need the attention of your medical physician immediately. Most often it is organ dysfunction that will set in and this will put you at risk for extreme pain and infections. Radiation therapy that you will most likely be exposed to will include nausea and eating problems, mouth sores, fatigue and probably the loss of hair. To what extent you will lose your hair will depend upon how much radiation and the veracity of the radiation you are exposed.
